DDL´s latest release features 20 Ambient themes and its components for producing Chill Out or for the use in games, installations, short movies etc.

Contact mics were used to create 682 MB of cool Sound FX, plus quality Pads and Ambiences were added on top.

All 87 loops are 31 seconds long and perfectly looped to make them amusing for hours, either in the back or foreground. Royalty free as always.

This is an analog modeled drum machine for Reaktor that feels alive, meaning it uses modulation, probability and automatically makes fills from the main pattern, at certain chosen points in time. It features a kick, clap, hihat, tom and percussion, in general sound-wise roughly between a 909 and an 808, also it uses their accents option. An Overdrive effect is implemented and can be mixed in from subtle to extreme to get even more analog feel. This all makes it good for anything between House /Techno /Minimal and such but really imagination is the limit here.

Cycles & Spots crafted a loops recorder in Reaktor that follows the basic idea of having 4 tape machines in your studio, though it didn’t quit stop there. This instrument can add randomness to the playbacks and by that can build everchanging compositions. Another main point is to have no tempo syncronization which adds more unpredictability and excitement. Double and half speed, forward and reverse play, amplitude envelope triggers and volumes can be manually set or randomly triggered. To get more of the old skool vibe, a tape sound emulation can be turned on for a bit of saturation and less or more of flutter and wow. On top of that the instrument features a tremolo effect for volume or left / right panning (also random rate possible), a dubby delay (watch out for the feedback) and a big reverb. So it’s easy to get real big sounding pieces out of this. The instrument is mainly to make Ambient, experimental music or soundscapes but it all depends on what you feed it with.
