Cycles & Spots crafted a VST3 to sequence resonator chords that play rhythmically based on one of the 200 implemented loops. You can choose either one of the 31 given chord progressions, edit your own or don't sequence at all to keep the monotonic feel. The sequencer can be set in synced speed lentgh (single step based for poly-rhythms). The possible chords are maj7, maj9, min7, min9, 13, 7sus4, min7b5, 7b9, dim7 – so quite a big range of progressions are possible, in all keys of course. To shape and modulate the sound there's a filter (4 types) with its own LFO (Sine to random) plus a final equalizer. You got 100 presets to choose from and the interface is zoomable.

The next chapter of Chicago House music construction kits from Deep Data Loops is ready. This time the focus lies on emotion with big pads for the right feeling of the more harmonic side of this genre. Once more just the right instrumentation of that era is recreated, for instance the 303 bassline but without the acid in this one. Further we have more 606 in this, which is often forgotten with it's big brothers. But no worries, there's some of these as well in it. For the melodies some of the back then popular digital synthesizers were used. Inside are 10 construction kits with the usual Wav loops and associated MIDI files in each one. So you could change all sounds if you so desire.

The latter consist of all the parts of the kits and give the control of swapping these sounds (drums & harmonies) , if you wish to. You could then use your favourite hard or software devices as sound sources for these. Inside you’ll find driving yet also smooth House Music drum elements mostly from machines but partly from real drum kits to get that soulful vibe, playing at 110BPM. The melodic parts go full soul music and feature great electric piano chords and bass guitar lines plus on top partly synth and real instrument melodies. Edit, arrange, mash up these kits or use single elements as creative sparks or fills for existing songs.
